Since 1992 we have been discovering and amplifying the voices of authors who drive positive change through books that connect people and ideas to create a world that works for all. BK extends its impact through deep partnerships with two nonprofit organizations—the Berrett-Koehler Foundation and BK Authors, Inc.—that together form a powerful global community dedicated to shared values and a common social mission.

Discount to attend BookPlan, the nonfiction book marketing workshop hosted by BK Authors Inc.

BookPlan (formerly known as the BK Authors Nonfiction Book Marketing Workshop) is an annual gathering of nonfiction authors, publicists, and book marketing professionals sharing their experiences and best practices. 

This workshop takes place annually in the Spring and is hosted virtually.

When you subscribe to Berrett-Koehler Community as a Steward or Leader you will have the chance to talk with one of our editors, receive feedback, and get help refining the overall big picture of your book. 

Editorial time is taken in 1-hour increments based on editor availability.

What is my contribution used for?

Your contribution helps us pursue our mission of connecting people and ideas to create a world that works for all, publishing new and diverse voices, and paying living wages to our hardworking staff. 

How can I contribute more?

When subscribing to the BK Community membership program you can use the + button to add an additional amount to your annual contribution. 

If you would prefer to offer a one-time contribution, you can choose the Angel of Change level and give any amount that you wish. 

How do I add more members?

As a Leader of Change you receive three seats for your team, friends, or family to take advantage of the BK Community benefits. If you would like to add more members, you can do so by pressing the + button next to the "included members" amount when you sign up. 

How do I cancel?

You can cancel at any time inside of your account settings. When you cancel, you will retain benefit access until the end of your paid subscription. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer refunds.
